Steam Carpet Cleaning Methods
Truck mount equipment is better than portable machines for carpet cleaning in Auckland. Steam ‘n’ Dry Auckland Carpet Cleaning 1987 utilises superior truck-mounted equipment, which removes more soil dirt viruses, germs and allergens. Most people don’t know the differences between steam cleaning machines and their results. However, they know one involves; shooting water down while another involves sucking it out.
For instance, our method comprises hot water to a spray extraction tool or wand. We have yet, coupled with a pump-vacuum power unit. This involves injecting steam cleaning water under pressure into the carpet through water-jet nozzles, and water penetrates the fibres to the significant back.
The process loosens:
- embedded soils
- removes oil and grease deposits
- as well as emulsified detergent residue
Truck-Mounted Steam Cleaning Methods
Moreover, the water of a truck mount system is consistently heated over 80 degrees Celsius. Thus, it generates much more chemical action for better cleaning results. However, it is much colder. By the time it gets from the faucet to the machine and is used for cleaning. It’s common knowledge that a cleaning solution’s chemical action doubles for every 10 Celcius degrees over 30 Celsius.
This extra heat effectively breaks down the carpet’s soil, grease, and stains. It also allows cleaning companies like Steam ‘n’ Dry Auckland Carpet Cleaning to use a steam cleaning solution, which is better for the environment.
The next big difference is in steam water pressure, up to 1500 PSI. Additionally, a cleaning solution must be rinsed appropriately from a carpet to get an effective clean. If it isn’t, any chemical solution left in the carpet can collect soil and cause the rug to get dirtier faster.
Of course, a portable carpet cleaner steam method can only reach around 125-300 PSI. Thus, it isn’t much, and if technicians don’t ensure that the rinse appropriately is done, leave some solution on the carpet. Aside from that, carpets rinsed up to 400-550 PSI, which is more than possible for a good truck mount.
Cost of Using Truck-mounted Equipment
Since truck-mounted carpet cleaning equipment is more expensive than portable equipment, it usually costs more to use in your home. At the same time, the higher efficacy of the equipment and the quicker process drive up the price because it brings greater convenience to the homeowner. Even though portable carpet steam cleaning equipment is cheaper by contrast. However, Steam ‘n’ Dry Auckland Carpet Cleaning 1987 utilises superior large truck-mounted equipment other than high-rise apartment blocks.
Mostly carpet cleaning can cost about $25 to $55 per room, with the truck-mounted equipment cost leaning toward the top of the price range.
The truck-mounted units were made, so only the hose and wand were cleaned into the building. These complete steam cleaning units deliver hot water and high vacuum. The truck’s motor is powered by diesel fuel, gas, propane, or engine.
Most fibre producers, carpet manufacturers, and professional cleaners endorse this process for achieving efficient soil removal with state-of-the-art equipment, very proficiency at high production, and less residue.
Portable Machines Carpet Steam Cleaning Method
Alternatively, anyone who has used a portable steam machine knows that it requires more cleaning solution and time, and carpets take longer to dry. The water used in portable machines can only reach the temperature of tap water, typically around 120 degrees. In contrast, Steam ‘n’ Dry Auckland Carpet Cleaning, established in 1987, uses superior truck-mounted equipment, except in high-rise apartment blocks where portable machines are necessary.
All of Which Are Immediately Extracted by Robust Vacuum Systems
There are many types of steam cleaners on the market. They range from small portable apartment steamers to powerful ones. Commercial steam cleaners can remove virtually instantaneously, employing the same method, utilising a mobile or truck-mounted machine. They are eliminating soils and residues, including spots and some stains.
Steam ‘n’ Dry Auckland Carpet Cleaning utilises superior truck-mounted equipment to inject high-pressure hot water, steam, or cleaning solution deep into the carpet.

Two methods When Steam Carpet Cleaning
1) First, it involves a traffic lane cleaner spraying onto the traffic lanes and agitating into the fibres. By hot water extraction, each area was cleaned. It has a cleaning solution injected into the threads through the wand. Inevitably, it leaves more cleaning solutions residue behind.
2) The second method involves a free rinse along with emulsifying pre-sprays. It sprayed over the entire carpet. Thus, the fibres are agitated into the extracted areas with a specially formulated rinsing agent and injected into the threads through the wand. Likewise, this method works more effectively at achieving a cleaner fibre.
The Steaming Rinsing Capacity
- Neutralise any alkalinity contained in the pre-spray
- Lock migrant dyes back into the fibres
- Ceases soils from redepositing back into fibres.
When rinsing carpet fibres with plain water, calcium/magnesium particles in the water cause the detergent molecules to drop the soil emulsified. These detergent molecules then begin emulsifying the particles. The grounds redeposit back into the carpet fibre, bringing about re-soiling.
Tip: When the rinsing agents are used, the chelating and sequestering agents hide the calcium/magnesium particles from the detergent molecules. The detergent molecules carry on holding onto the soils they have emulsified. Thus, it allows them to rinse from the carpet fibres more thoroughly.
Steam Cleaning Procedure
- Ready for the steamers, equipment, and supplies in a pump-up or power sprayer. Mix-free rinsing emulsifying pre-spray (comply with manufacturer’s recommended dilutions). Mix the rinsing agent (following the manufacturer’s advised dilutions) in the extractor’s solution tank.
- In case the area has furniture, remove as much as possible.
- Thoroughly vacuum the carpet.
- Pre-spray an ample amount of the emulsifying pre-spray
- With a grooming tool, agitate the pre-spray into the fibres and let sit for 20 minutes. Make sure that it does not dry out.
- Extract the area with a truck-mounted or portable apartment steamer extractor or an automatic steamer carpet machine.
- Groom cleaned area.
- Replace any furniture taken out. Place protective pads under any legs that may cause rust.
- Finally, thoroughly clean up all equipment.
